  • Update for Club AGM.  Being held on 3rd February 2012 at the Iford Lane Rugby Club (next to track) start 7pm for 7.30, Refreshments available as per email.
  • memberships will be £25.00 for the year.  Also to support our club there will be an affiliated membership for parents and supporters etc of £5.00 per person for the year. Forms will be availalbe at the AGM.

  • New date for Bournemouth Club Presentation Night has been changed from 25th November to 7pm on Thursday 1st December.
  • To be held at Chapel Gate (Bournemouth Sports Club) Hurn, near the airport
  • Skittles and a basket meal with bar avalable
  • Adults £7.00
  • Members under 16 £5.00
  • Non members under 12 £5.00
  • Members under 12 free of charge.
  • Good trophies for all those that have qualified!!
  • Confirmation of attendance, ages etc email to Tony Hatcher   at thatcher@mypostoffice.co.uk
  • Payment before event please.  Cheques made payable to Bournemouth BMX Club.

  • Just to let you all know, our Club Race night scheduled for this Wednesday has been postponed. The reason being poor weather, and nights drawing in making it too dark too quickly. What we plan to do is re schedule to a further date probably in October, either a Saturday or Sunday making it a lot more practical.  We will let you know asap.
  • We will put on coaching and gates from 6.00pm in its place.

  • Registration is from 9.30-11.30.
  • 10.00-10.30 under 14yr open practice.
  • 10.30-11.00 over 14yr open practice.
  • 11.00-11.30 under 14yr gate practice.
  • 11.30-12.00 over 14yr gate practice.
  • Racing to start close to 1pm as possible.

  • Refreshments available all day.

  • Hi all, the Brit's are comming up.If you qualify and want to take part, ther is an on line pre reg at www.bigdaddyplates.co.uk please use this and don't forget to order your South region shirt from Martin Baxter if you need one.
  • This Tues is a work party to get the track ready for the regional race. It's nearly there and just needs a couple of hours to finish off. All available please meet at the track for 6pm.
  • The Bournemouth Big Weekend plans are going well. Lot's going on for the weekend. Please visit web site BMX TALK and view the full programme of events. All starts 10am Sat with car boot and open practice on the track. Lot's of riders from the past comming to the track for some old skool racing. Big prizes for the best old skool bike. South region race school holding a session between 5pm-7pm at the track. Rugby club bar serving Bournemouth aniversary cocktail !! BBQ Sat evening by the rugby club.

  • Don't forget the Big Bournemouth Weekend .  Saturday is the 30 Year Celebration of Bournemouth Club. Sunday 28th August is Round 10 Regional.
  • Weekend begins.  Saturday Car Boot 10am - 1.00pm.  Come and buy and sell BMX gear. 'No Clip Saturday', there will be Old School racing,Displays of old school bikes, and even some old school riders coming out of the closet!!! Refreshement available all day including trackside bar.  Southern School of Racing.  Full Programme to follow shortly
  • Camping on Saturday night £10.00. Spaces limited please book in advance with T Hatcher.
  • Rugby Club bar will be open with BBQ.
  • Sunday Round 10 Regional. Refreshments all day.  Programme to follow.

  • There will be training from 10am to 11am.  Registration til 11.30am and racing from 12.00pm onwards.  £6.00 Non Members and £3.00 Members.  This includes training and race fees.
  • Bacon Rolls, Teas, Coffee and Cake will be available too.

  • Members FREE (we will have a list of all fully paid up members) Wear your Club shirts this will help recognise members from non members. Non Members £4.00 . The track will be closed to non participants during the session.

  • A big UP to all the Bournemouth riders who travelled to Gosport for Round 2 of the South Series yesterday. Some great riding from young and old!!  Getting some great results for Bournemouth.
  • Nice to see plenty  of members taking up our great membership offer - courtesy of James Roberts.
  • Don't forget meeting on Wednesday at the Rugby Club near the track.  Hope to start as close to 6.30pm as possible so kids can use the track at the same time. This is to discuss plans for the big 30th Anniversay of the Club in August.

  • We have now updated the Calendar for the 2011 National Races dates, Regionals have not yet been set but will be available after the regional meeting on 8th February 2011.
  • We will also be holding our AGM in February and let you know more then.
