SOUTH CHAMPS: EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
As you can imagine we get bombarded with questions, all the information we have will be posted online so please to keep up to date with all the information for the South Champs on the Bournemouth BMX Club page by liking our Facebook page.

We will be offering onsite camping; all camping pitches are pre-pay booked online via our website. Camping costs £15 for Saturday night only. The pitches are 8m x 7m to ensure cars can fit on camping pitches, to meet with fire safety requirements.
Entry to the campsite opens at 10.00am on Saturday 22 September 2018, via Iford Lane, Bournemouth – postcode BH6 5NF. Please make other arrangements to park up away from the site if you will be arriving early. No parking or camping is allowed on the entry road – there is clear signage, any vehicles parking there will be reported and riders will be barred from racing in the South Champs. Guests must be off site no later than one hour after racing has finished on Sunday 23 September.
No late arrivals after 9pm.
Guests must produce their printed booking confirmation on arrival. You will be issued with a tag which is to be made visible on your tent, caravan or motor home for checks and a car park pass for the weekend.
Campers should follow the directions of the Club Volunteers who will direct them to their pitch.
In the event of poor ground conditions a pitch may not be available. The Club will endeavour to advise the customer in advance should this occur but no responsibility can be accepted if this is not possible.
There are no electrical hook up points on site.

Please take a few minutes to read the important information below. Upon booking your camping pitch you agree to abide by the site rules and if found to be breaking these rules may be asked to leave.
THE CAMPSITE IS A NO SMOKING AREA. Please smoke in the designated smoking area or outside of the camping and parking area away near the clubhouse.
Because of the danger of fire, open fires are not permitted on site. Barbeques may be lit provided they are raised off the ground and are in a suitable container – no wood burning.
You will see upon arrival that camping pitches 8m x 7m have been marked out, please keep within these lines, one tent/caravan/campervan and one small tent per pitch, or one motorhome per pitch. To meet fire regulations, we advise that you position your camp in the centre of your pitch leaving as much space as possible between yourself and your neighbour.
Only one vehicle per pitch please, parked within your pitch to keep roadways clear throughout the campsite to enable the entry and exit of emergency vehicles. Any extra vehicles will be asked to park in the car park. For safety reasons do not park your vehicle directly in front of your tent entrance. No parking along the fence and please keep vehicle movement to a minimal especially during event times.
Stewarding, Parking and Traffic Management will be handled by our club volunteers. Please follow their direction at all times.
We expect all our stewards to be treated with respect during your time on our site. If anyone in your group are disrespectful, abusive or threatening, your group will be asked to leave the site and riders may be barred from racing.
There will be fire points situated around the site, if there is a fire please ring the bell at the fire point to alert other campers and make your way to the nearest emergency exit point. In the event of an emergency please call 999. Site address Iford Lane, Bournemouth BH6 5NF.
Dogs are welcome but please keep them on a lead and ensure you clear up using the bins provided around the field.
Please keep your speed to a minimum on the campsite and car parks – maximum 5mph.
As the campsite is temporary and is in a residential area please keep the noise to a level which will not disturb the residents or other site users, especially between the hours of 10.30pm and 8.00am.
Generators may be used but must be turned off between 10:30pm to 8am. Campers may be asked to refrain from using them if they cause a disturbance.
No motorised vehicles on site i.e. Mini motos/pit bikes etc.
Toilets will be available on the camp site and trackside.
The showers will be onsite, opening times to be advised.
Fresh water will be available from the marked water point – please ask Stewards to direct you.
There will be 24 hour security on site, please ensure your valuables are secure at all times, if you see anyone acting suspiciously please report this to the security staff or a club volunteer. If you need to contact anyone during the weekend, please contact one of our volunteers or speak to our onsite security team.
You and your party’s property remain on the Campsite at your own risk. Bournemouth BMX Club/Bournemouth Council accept no responsibility whatsoever for loss or damage to persons or property arising out of the use of a site or its facilities.
Advance booking only.
Cancelling your booking: due to the short lead time, no refunds will be provided. Any unwanted pitches will need to be sold privately.
If you leave the site early for any reason we will keep any unused fees and you will not be entitled to a refund.
Sites with unsuitable camping conditions. If adverse circumstances, for example flooding, result in Bournemouth BMX Club cancelling your booking at any time, a full refund of your deposit or unused camping fees will be made.
The nearest accident and emergency department is Royal Bournemouth Hospital, Castle Lane East, Bournemouth BH7 7DW. The hospital is a five minute drive from the campsite and track.
Please vacate the campsite no later than one hour after racing finishes on Sunday 23 September 2018.
Parking will be £3/day
Please display your car sticker in your vehicle window at all times. Parking is included in the price of camping.
£5 per rider. You will be able to pay at the track. 4-6pm.
