We’re helping Poole Panthers celebrate their 40th anniversary! Almost since the dawn of time but certainly right there at the start of the rise of BMX as a sport in the UK…
…the Poole Panthers moved to their permanent home behind what was Kemp Welch School (now St Aldhelm’s Academy) off Herbert Avenue in 1981. The track was popular with some big jumps; the outline can still be seen, the vivid memories live on.
We will be hosting a fundraiser event to mark the Panthers’ 40th anniversary and raise money for Dorset Mind – see flyer. Don’t miss our fun day (18 September) and end of series club race and presentation (19 September) – all are welcome.
You can also buy a commemorative t-shirt which will also help to raise important funds for the local charity.

Look out for updates on the club’s Facebook page including any changes to events due to weather, pandemics or other things that may occasionally crop up.
The track is closed to the public during club sessions and events.
